Follow the coast north through Tywyn, Dolgellau and Barmouth. At Dolgellau why not take a break and visit the gold mines. This leg of the route has some stunning countryside as you are passing through the Snowdonia National Park. You must also visit the village of Portmeirion where they filmed the hit series ‘The Prisoner’.
