Follow the coast / estuary road westwards towards Tenby and Saundersfoot. Along the way St Clears is a great little town to top up on supplies and you must stop at Pendine sands where they used to run the land speed record attempts. It’s a huge beach and there is a museum on the beach dedicated to land speed records. Tenby is also a lovely place to visit and if you fancy a spot of lunch on the way try stopping at Wiseman’s bridge as there is a great pub right on the beach.
